PRESIDENTIAL PLATFORM IN PROGRESS:
- All elevator and grocery store music will be provided by a new Remix Cultural Center.
- Airline flights will no longer allow luggage. Luggage will be shipped separately on unmanned aircraft.
- Paper will be taxed at 100% - a tax phased in over 5 years.
- Every citizen will receive a free margarita (frozen or on the rocks) after more than 8 hours of work.
- No companies will be allowed to answer the phone with a computer.
- Artist and Musician communes will be established in each state for the purpose of 3-month housing and teaching, expression, and creating new art and music.
- Each state will receive funding to protect and record their cultural history and heritage.
- All businesses will be closed on Sunday. The name for Sunday will be changed to Luvday.
- All Citizens will be allowed to farm a plot of land, areas to be designated from former highways and demolished prison sites.
- New structures will be sustainable and built from only local materials.
- The elderly will be interviewed, their thoughts and wisdom recorded for posterity.
- Soft drink machines will be outlawed in public schools.
- Lotteries and casinos will be closed because they “fleece the poor and statistically stupid.” (Lionel Tiger)
- Capitalism will reward new ideas, new efficiencies, new technologies, and those companies who give back to society.
- We will glorify the givers, the helpers, those who share and help others who are disadvantaged.
- Red tape will be eliminated.
- All days will have 12 hours of sunshine.
- Unwanted or dangerous pregnancies will be avoided as much as possible through education and protection but the woman’s right to choose will remain sacrosanct.
- Registered lobbyists will be forbidden in the DC area and “must live in downtown Galveston.” (Lionel Tiger)
- No more state or city sponsored stadiums.
- GLBT rights will be enforced and all citizens of legal age will be allowed to marry the person they love.
- There will be no more bright purple houses.
- All soldiers will be brought home.
- STABILIZE HOUSING:
1 Million immigrants given advanced placement towards a green card when they purchase a home.
1 Million soldiers and/or veterans given 0% interest on loans to purchase a home.
1 Million homes sold through international marketing: “Your chance to own a piece of America.”
1 Million homes purchased through the new Middle Class Home Fund, a fund operated and managed by a new independant bank through states and local municipalities. $2,000 minimum to participate in this fund.
1 Million teachers given 0% rate on loans to purchase their primary residence located within their district. - A one hundred foot high monument with flowing fountains will be built in DC to honor the millions of school teachers who have toiled in our midst for the last two hundred years.
- Only civil political discourse will be allowed.
- Every citizen must plant one tree per year.
- Florescent lighting will be abolished from all mass transit.
- All animals killed on the road will receive an honorable burial.
- Fridays will begin on Thursday.
- All lit advertisement signs will be removed (except in New York City and Las Vegas).
- All citizens must carry a license in etiquette, to be renewed every five years.
- Homes will be self-sufficient by the year 2030.
- Waste water will be recycled by each home and/or building.
- All highways will be replaced by parks, trails, bike paths and a monorail system.
- All orphans will be found a loving home.
- All non-violent prisoners will be released.
- Most prisons will be demolished or turned into museums or farmland for citizens.
- Immigrants will no longer be called “illegal aliens”. All will receive social security numbers and will participate fully as responsible citizens, paying their fair share of taxes.
- There will be a flat rate of 20% on income tax for all people earning over $70,000 per year. That 20% will be on income over $70,000. There will be no tax deductions and all income will be taxed at the same rate. Estate tax will continue at the established 20% flat rate.
- Drugs will be legalized and regulated through the medical system.
- Refined sugar and high fructose corn syrup will be classified as a drug and regulated as such.
- Any organization that receives tax-free status or government funds will not be allowed to enter partisan political discourse.
- All farm animals will be free range.
- Energy efficiency will be increased 100%.
- Nano technology, computer technology, energy efficiency, and medical research will have their funding increased in par with the military.
- All personal vehicles must be electric and monorail approved by the year 2030.
- Every citizen will be required by law to love, unless otherwise exempted.
